About the Instructor:
Pat Spano is an Ormond Beach artist working in pastels, watercolors and acrylics. Retired from the Volusia County School System, art was always incorporated into her curriculum. Now she loves teaching more in depth art studies with small groups. Pat studied art at Daytona State, Florida State University and McDaniel College in MD. She continues her studies through workshops in watercolor and acrylic. Pat includes her deep interests in travel, music, dance, and nature in her art. Extensive travels across the US as well as journeys south of the border and to Europe have provided her with a wealth of deep-seated impressions which she translates into various artistic mediums. In 2015 she taught watercolor journaling in S.W. France, and she’s returning to France this year to take a class herself. The experience was wonderful and has inspired her to grow as an artist!
