Labyrinths have been a symbol of transformation for thousands of years. In it’s simplest form, the labyrinth is a single path of concentric circles, leading to a center point. Unlike a maze, the labyrinth has no dead ends, so can be used as a walking meditation to quiet the mind or reflect on a question, letting the body take over the walking journey. During this workshop you’ll have the opportunity to walk the labyrinth in the museum’s fall gardens and then create your own handheld mini labyrinth that can be traced with your finger and used as a portable and daily meditation tool. Please join us and experience the creative sanctuary of our Art of Healing community. All supplies provided and no experience is necessary. Class led by Kristin Heron.
The Art of Healing is held at only one location in November due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Class is free but space is limited.
