Two Day Color Mixing Workshop
Saturday & Sunday, October 21st & 22nd, 9am-noon

How do you mix that color? Come explore color mixing , the psychology of color, complimentary colors vs. analogous colors and much more.
Using acrylic paints, students will learn or refresh their memory about the color wheel and various color schemes that can be used to create a more interesting painting. Each student will create exploratory paintings on paper and then use what they have learned to paint a finished still life on canvas. This class is for beginners to intermediate painters but all levels are welcome to come rekindle their creativity. All supplies provided; open to participants 16 and older. Cost: $150 (members) / $165 (future members)
About the Instructor:
Karlene McConnell was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. She earned a B.A. in Art Education from the University of Central Florida. She is a former Special Education Art Teacher and Art Museum Curator/ Educator.
