Garden Kaleidoscope Honors Ann Heist
In 2019, a garden kaleidoscope was added near the Museum entrance as a memorial tribute to Ann Heist, OMAM supporter and longtime member of the Garden Club of the Halifax Country.
Created by metal sculptor Robert C. Anderson of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, the popular garden feature has a metal framework with a bowl of flowering plants as the object chamber for the kaleidoscope. You spin the bowl to change what you see when looking through the eyepiece.
