Subtractive Drawing with Colored Pencil: Zebra Workshop with Kathi Darby

This class will introduce beginning students to a technique called subtraction drawing. Skills taught include prepping the drafting film and using a variety of materials to "subtract" the drawing from the prepped film. There are many ways to do this, but we will start with a simple black and white zebra. Open to students 16 and older. The instructor will provide reference photos, line drawings and a prepped Dura-lar sheet for each student. Students are responsible for other supplies; please click HERE to see list.
