First Saturday Ormond Art Walk: Seward Johnson Walk & Talk

Make OMAM one of your stops during the First Saturday Ormond Art Walk to learn about world-renowned American artist Seward Johnson (1930-2020) and his pieces from the local "Art Imitates Life" installation. All 13 life-size, life-like bronze sculptures are located on both public and private property along the Granada Boulevard corridor from A1A to Lewis Street and will remain through April 2025.
THE TALK
OMAM volunteer docent Andrea Hoy will talk with museum and garden visitors from 3 to 7pm about the sculpture artist and provide additional insights about the two pieces on site from his “Icons Revisited” series.
THE WALK
Local health coach Hailey Nolin will lead a fun, fitness-focused walking tour to visit each of the Steward Johnson sculptures. The free walk, which includes both sides of the Granada Bridge, will be approximately 2-3 miles and take about an hour round-trip. Those interested in joining should meet at 3:00pm near the museum's main entrance. If you'd prefer to do only some of the walking tour, feel free at any point to check out the Art Walk stops along the way, or catch the complimentary Art Walk shuttle back to OMAM. This walk provides a great opportunity for participants to get in their steps while being able to ask questions to a qualified nutritionist.
