Appleton Museum of Art "French Masterpieces" Tour & More with Ruth Grim

Please join Ruth Grim for a unique, guided-trip to the Appleton Museum of Art in Ocala to view exquisite works by William-Adolphe Bouguereau, Jean-Leon Gérôme, Thomas Couture, Jules Breton, Rosa Bonheur, Auguste Rodin and others. The group will explore the height of the great French 19th century art academies, which produced some of the most technically advanced works of art for their time – and also spawned a dramatic revolution in art by those who rejected its teachings, the Impressionists.
The registration fee ($35 Museum/Guild Members; $50 Non-Members) includes transportation plus Ruth's discussion during the bus ride only. Seats are limited; and registration is non-refundable. OMAM's premier-level members can show their current membership card to receive free admission to the Appleton. For those without North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association® benefits, you will need to pay your admission upon arrival ($10 adults; $8 seniors 55+). The group will also have lunch together, but checks will be separate and each should plan to pay for their own meal. The tour bus will depart OMAM at 9am and will return by 5pm.
