Programs & Events For Veterans
Since its founding in 1946, the Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens has had a special bond with veterans, current service members and military families. Artist Malcolm Fraser, a decorated World War I veteran, offered a collection of his life's work to any town along the east coast. Ormond Beach residents rose to the occasion and worked together to create the Ormond War Memorial Art Gallery as a living monument to creative freedom. Returning servicemen from World War II volunteered their time to help build the museum's galleries and clear the land for the spectacular gardens.

Support OMAM's Mission
The Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens was founded in 1946 to inspire the community through art and nature while honoring those who fought for freedom. Today, the museum continues to uphold that mission by hosting events that foster military appreciation, and by offering free art outreach programing to veterans and current service members. Contributions made through this online form help support those efforts.
