Art it Through 6-Week Series
This 6-week workshop series is designed for those people moving through grief after a loss. Participants will engage in activities that allow for support and creative expression while navigating the stages of grief. These activities focus on play and imagination, using various types of collage, painting, sculpture, writing, movement, and music as tools to help during this difficult moment. Art It Through is an inspiring guided opportunity to use creativity for positive self-care and community bonding. No experience is necessary for participation in these activities; open to participants 16 & older.
All supplies are provided by Atlantic Center for the Arts. This workshop will be held at Ormond Memorial Art Museum. Monica Vidal leads Art It Through as an artist ambassador of Atlantic Center for the Arts in New Smyrna Beach.
