Introduction to Wet Felting with Liz Canali
Explore the endless possibilities of wet felting! Learn the basics of layout, edges, shrinkage and wool types. Embellish with yarns, silk, bamboo, viscose and more while creating a small wall hanging. Use your own photo as inspiration or play with color and texture for a unique abstract look. This workshop is for felting beginners. Students will need to bring two large towels and two hand towels (they can be old!) to use during class. Optionally, students may bring scraps of yarn, silk and/or any wool they might want to use in their project, photos for inspiration, and a palm sander (if you already have one otherwise there will be extras to borrow).
