Mini Cactus Pinatas

These mini cactus pinatas would make the perfect decoration for a home Cinco de Mayo celebration!
SUPPLIES
- cereal box
- tape
- pencil
- scissors
- glue
- tissue paper
STEPS
- Draw two matching cactus shapes on a cereal box, cut out
- Cut out a few strips of cardboard, about one inch wide
- Create an armature: tape the one inch strips around the edge of the cactus
- Tape the other cactus on top
- Cut strips of tissue paper into fringe
- Use glue to cover the cactus with fringe, starting at the bottom
- Crumple some tissue into tiny flowers - glue on top of the cactus
- Cut a trap door in the bottom if you want to fill with treats
