Homeschool Drawing and Acrylic Painting
Tuesday, March 6th, 10:30am-12:30pm
Instructor: Leah Holland
In this class geared toward home school students, Leah will teach how to set up composition, mix colors, select, draw and paint a subject. Students will each be guided on individual projects. Your child will enjoy hands on instruction in a small class size with the benefit of creating in a museum surrounded by artwork and inspiring gardens. Ages 6-10. Students are responsible for a 16″x20″ canvas; all other supplies are provided.
$25 (members) / $28 (future members)
Please register for the sessions you’d like to attend in advance! Class meets most Tuesdays 10:30am-12:30pm. Please check the museum calendar to reserve your child’s seat.
About the Instructor:
Leah Holland is a native of Aiken, S.C. now residing in Ormond Beach. She began drawing at the age of 8. Leah attended Wesleyan College, Macon, Ga. Colors, movement, texture and light flow throughout Leah’s work. She works in various mediums: Acrylics, Gouache watercolor, oil on linen and Pen& Ink. She has designed for The Cherry Blossom Festival over the years in Macon, Ga. Leah enjoys teaching art and dedicates her art success to her loving parents.
