Giving voice to your feelings is a path to wellness and often a source of powerful art. Whether you are an experienced writer with writer’s block or are new to writing but not sure where to start, this series of workshops will find and free your creative energy. Dr. David B. Axelrod combines Chinese meditation (Chi Gong) techniques and a fifty-year career as a professional author/poet, to guide you to your creative source. Write for yourself—satisfaction and wellness—and revise to share your creations with others. This four class series will give you time to practice finding and focusing your feelings, which you may use as a personal path to wellness or to perfect and share your art. $60 (members) / $67 (future members)

About the Instructor: Best known as a poet, Dr. David B. Axelrod is Poet Laureate of Volusia County, Florida. He has also spent over forty years working as an arts administrator. Recipient of three Fulbright Awards and numerous prizes, author of twenty-two books and hundreds of articles, he has taught, advised and assisted over twelve thousand students and individuals. His work has been translated into fifteen languages and he has performed for tens of thousands of people.
