A unique musical experience in the museum galleries during Ormond Art Walk
Please join guest composer-performer, Sasha Bogdanowitsch, as he leads listeners and art viewers through the museum’s current exhibit, ‘Influenced by Sound,’ with original compositions and improvisations on unique, unusual instruments inspired by the work on display. Musical instruments featured such as the Hadphoon, HAPI drum, Fuyara and the Tenori-on express not only an unusual sound palette, but share uncommon visual aspects among them, as well as cover a wide timbral range from percussion, wind and strings to world and electronic instruments. The artist will perform periodically throughout the three hour Art Walk, on the half hour: 5:30pm, 6pm, 6:30pm, 7pm, & 7:30pm. This event is open to the public and free of charge.
